Come in, get cozy, and stay a while,
It’s profound & beautiful that most projects get us to write letters to our future or past selves (I love that because it helps us reflect and plan for the future), but what about the version of you that’s here now? The one stuck in traffic or the one who feels stuck in your current job? The one struggling with faith? The one that may feel stuck?
I started this project back in 2020, but never quite got to the point of finishing it – at the time, it was entitled “10 emails,” and came from doing a bible study that had touched me deeply and I felt like sharing some of the big, sticky, hard lessons and insights. So I started writing the 10 emails, and they stretched beyond 10 and evolved into different forms – some were poetry, some were prose, some lived in between.
The year is now 2024 – four years letter – and I’m back with an evolved view of that project. Instead of 10 emails, here’s my proposal: I want to walk the year with you.
So if you sign up, for the next 52 weeks, I will commit to sending you a letter each week to walk alongside you, share biblical insights, musings, and reflections. I hope we’ll get opportunities to meet over Zoom and break bread and write together. I hope I get the opportunity to hear your own honest reflections and testimonies and the ways you’re being stretched and challenged.
